C.M. Meiers is pleased to provide Green Label coverage to qualifying clients that can encompass property, liability, worker’s compensation , and even automotive insurance. We are committed to find ecofriendly insurance products that enhance our client’s business and, in the event of a loss, make it even better. We seek to innovate and educate in an environment where most insurance and risk managers are satisfied with the status quo.
We will work with you, the building owner, the business owner, and the individual who has the unique needs of controlling their environment, to create the best possible product. And if a loss does occur, you will have the peace of mind of knowing you have the right coverage.
Our Green Label program specifically addresses the global, ecofriendly arena and the insurance issues that you will face today and moving forward due to the increasing connections between business and the environment.
Our Green Label services can range from identifying and securing insurance policies to helping your organization manage risk more effectively.
Our Green Team will work with you in making sure that insurance guidelines are met, followed, and that costs are kept down. We can connect you to services and experts to design a green facility that aligns or exceeds industry standards set by the EPA and AQMD. Working with government agencies, we can serve as your resource as a property owner, manufacturer, or tenant. We can even evaluate and enhance your company’s disaster plan and work with your worker’s compensation carriers to improve communication and illustrate your commitment to a safer work environment.
Typically the term “green” is applied to a building or facility. Properties considered green are energy and water efficient, offer a lower carbon footprint, and exhibit a healthy work environment. Buildings can become Green certified by the U.S. Green Building Council or the Green Building Initiative.
