Robert M. Bryar
President

Robert Bryar brings more than 30 years of experience to C.M. Meiers, and is keenly aware of the value a broker must provide to his clients. As President, he focuses on building strong client relationships and creating a work environment that delivers exceptional customer service.

Prior to joining the firm, Bryar served as President and CEO of Speare and Co., a large regional broker specializing in commercial and entertainment insurance. Acordia/Wells Fargo Insurance Services acquired Speare and Co. in 2004, and Bryar was named Managing Director. He also serves as an expert witness on the subject of property and association coverage and has served on more than a dozen insurance company advisor councils.

Charlene has been involved in the insurance industry since 1981.

In 1988 she joined an insurance broker, which opened the doors for her to service VIP and affluent clients.

In 1990, she accepted a new position at Max Behm & Associates, Inc., who specialized in business management and entertainment clients. In 1994 Max Behm merged with USI Insurance Services.

In 1999 she took a position with a global brokerage firm, AON/Albert G Ruben who also specialized in business management and entertainment.

In November, 2003, Charlene joined CMM Entertainment with a following of business management and entertainment clients.

 

Greg Jones

Greg is a 28 year veteran of the insurance industry, beginning in 1977 for AIG in New York. In 1983 he moved to Chubb Group of Insurance Companies where he entered into the entertainment division.

In 1986, Greg accepted a position with Albert G. Ruben to be closer to the mainstream of the film and television industry. While there, Greg worked with several major independent production companies, including Morgan Creek Productions, Lorimar Pictures and Viacom Productions. Greg was also responsible for all placements of errors and omissions insurance on productions emanating from Europe and Canada.

In 1990, Greg accepted a position in the entertainment division of Near North Insurance Brokerage. During his five years he negotiated an exclusive, three year agreement for all production insurance worldwide with Viacom, Inc. This included production insurance for Showtime Networks, MTV Productions and Nickelodeon. Greg was also the liason with the completion bond firm International Film Guarantors. (IFG)

In 1995, Greg went to work for USI Insurance Services to help the fledgling company start their production division. With his help, USI became the third largest provider of production insurance in the world.

Greg joined CMM Entertainment in July, 2005.

Cathy has been on the agent/brokerage side of the insurance industry since 1980.

She began her career in entertainment with Max Behm & Associates in 1988.

Since 1994, she has been involved in marketing new business from production companies to wholesalers, manufacturers, retail business and some of the largest contractors, restaurants and casinos worldwide.

In December, 2003, her career path brought her back to the entertainment arena with an opportunity to work with some of the finest people and talent at CMM Entertainment.

Jennifer has been in the insurance industry since 1990.

She began her career in entertainment with Max Behm & Associates.

In 1994, she went to work for AON/Albert G. Ruben servicing entertainment and business management clients.

In 1999, she went to Altman, Greenfield and Selvaggi, a prominent business management firm. As the Risk Manager/Insurance Coordinator, she handled all aspects of insurance for the entertainment clientele.

In December, 2003, her career took a new path when she joined CMM Entertainment. Jennifer brings her knowledge and experience of having worked both sides of the industry to manage the CMM Entertainment team.

Cristina started her insurance career in 1985 with Farmers Home Mutual Insurance Company.

After several years, she took a position with a mortgage banking company, providing their clients with insurance needs associated with their home mortgage loans.

In 1995, she started her transition into the entertainment industry, working for Max Behm & Associates/USI Insurance Services.

In November, 2003, she joined CMM Entertainment.

 

Chris Palmer

A risk and insurance professional for more than twenty years, Chris was director of risk control for Aon/Albert G. Ruben for twelve years.

As a member of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers Industry Labor-Management Safety Committee, he helped draft many of the industry safety bulletins.

Chris was the original author of the Risks in Global Filmmaking Map, which measured the risks facing filmmakers in every country in the world. A constituent member of the U.S. State Department Overseas Security Advisory Council, he provides clients with international production exposures with up to date security and threat assessment information, advises on risk protection measures including security measures for crime, kidnap and ransom, extortion, terrorism, evacuation and crisis management.

He also assists clients with hurricane contingency planning, security and medical evacuation plans, accident investigation, claims advocacy, injury and illness prevention plans and government agency liaison.

He has provided risk control consultation on more than 900 film and television productions including Titanic, X Men, Flyboys, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Behind Enemy Lines and Windtalkers. A pioneer in reality television safety, he was the on-set safety and risk management consultant for the first three seasons of Fear Factor. Other reality television projects include American Idol, American Inventor, America’s Got Talent, Big Brother, Combat Missions, Next Action Star, Eco Challenge, Cannonball Run, and Wild World of Spike.

Marc has been an insurance broker since 1966 the year in which he graduated from UCLA's School of Business Administration with insurance as his field of concentration.

Marc's career in the insurance brokerage industry has included helping his clients with most insurance needs. For approximately the last 25 years he has specialized in the field of entertainment providing his expertise for clients in the motion picture and music industries. Books on film production have included Marc's chapters on film insurance needs and procedures.

In 2006 Marc joined CMM and is providing clients with the very best.

Karina began her career as a Customer Service Representative for Progress Insurance Services. Within 3 months, she was promoted to Jr. Commercial Underwriter. In 2003, Karina accepted an offer from Speare & Company as an Assistant Account Manager in their entertainment department. It was this opportunity that gave Karina her first exposure to entertainment insurance, and she decided to focus her talents in that direction

Seeking to expand her knowledge, Karina accepted a position with the Dewitt Stern Group as an Assistant Account Executive.  In 2005, Karina received an EPI award for her selflessness and for consistently being a consistently positive contributing member of the DSG team.

Karina joined CMM Entertainment in 2006 as an Account Executive, and has worked on most of the major production accounts in the entertainment production department.  Her focus is primarily film and television production.   Her ability to speak four languages has been invaluable in working on productions outside of the U.S.

Karina is licensed as both an Agent and Broker. She has completed INS 21, 22 and 23, and she is currently working on her Associate degree in Risk Management.

 

Deanna Nocero

Deanna has been providing insurance services to the entertainment industry for over ten years. She has worked with several major studios, most recently Warner Brothers and Universal. She has also worked with several prominent independent production companies including Miramax, Granada Entertainment USA, and Mandalay Pictures.

In the television arena, Deanna was instrumental in creating an exclusive production insurance program for Fremantle Media North America, producers of numerous reality based shows, including "American Idol".

Deanna's experience over the years is a reflection of her diversity. She has worked with several of the largest business management firms in the U.S. and worked on providing insurance for numerous music touring groups.
